Kevin Pietersen made a losing return to action as his Delhi side went down by four runs to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
Pietersen, who missed the opening three games due to a broken finger, made just 16 as the Daredevils were unable to chase down 185.
Earlier, Australians Aaron Finch and David Warner put on 128 for the second wicket as the Sunrisers made 184-1 in their 20 overs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
